Evolve Wellness Announces Grand Opening of Evolve Apothecary, Harford County’s First Full-Service Apothecary

New Downtown Bel Air destination combines herbal wellness, hands-on creativity and whole-person care with a community celebration on November 7

BEL AIR, Md. — October 29, 2026 — After months of dreaming, planning and creating, Evolve Wellness is preparing to open the doors to Evolve Apothecary, a new destination for herbal wellness, intentional living and community connection in Downtown Bel Air. The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening on Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 25 E. Ellendale Street.

Positioned as Harford County’s first full-service apothecary, Evolve Apothecary expands Evolve Wellness’ mission of making whole-person wellness more approachable and accessible. The new space brings together traditional herbalism, thoughtfully curated wellness products, hands-on experiences and opportunities for personalized guidance.

Connecting Herbalism and Whole-Person Care

As an extension of Evolve Wellness, the apothecary reflects the practice’s commitment to supporting the whole person. Visitors can connect with Tyler, Evolve’s certified herbalist, to discuss their interests, ask questions and explore herbal options aligned with their individual wellness goals.

The team also brings a modern health care perspective to these conversations. Jennifer Haller, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, Evolve’s psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, provides an opportunity for clients to discuss their current medications and potential interactions with herbal products. This collaboration reinforces the importance of making informed choices when incorporating herbs into an existing wellness routine.

By bringing herbal education and integrative care together, Evolve Apothecary hopes to help community members feel more confident exploring their options while recognizing that wellness is personal and looks different for everyone.

A New Approach to Herbal Wellness

Visitors are invited to explore the Herbal Bar, a unique, hands-on crafting experience designed to make herbalism approachable, creative and fun. With rotating seasonal offerings, guests will have opportunities to create their own botanical products, including bath soaks, body scrubs, salves, roller bottles and candles.

The Herbal Bar is part of a larger vision for the Apothecary: creating a welcoming community space where people can learn something new, explore a personal interest, discover a self-care ritual or simply spend time connecting with others.

The Apothecary also offers a carefully selected collection of loose-leaf herbs, tinctures, syrups, herbal blends, books, journals, ritual items, self-care tools, thoughtful gifts and other wellness essentials. The selection reflects a commitment to blending traditional herbal practices with a modern, integrative perspective on well-being.

Grant Support Helps Bring the Vision to Life

The development of Evolve Apothecary was made possible in part by a $30,000 Enhancement Grant awarded to Evolve Wellness through the Backing Small Businesses program, administered by Main Street America and supported by American Express. The grant recognizes Evolve’s commitment to its community and provides support for bringing this new vision for herbal wellness, creativity and connection to life in Downtown Bel Air.
