Psychiatric Care
Compassionate care for a steadier mind.
Psychiatric care at Evolve offers a thoughtful, personalized approach to supporting your mental and emotional well-being.
Led by our Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), this service is designed to help you gain clarity, find balance and feel more supported in your day-to-day life. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, mood changes or are simply feeling overwhelmed, psychiatric care can provide deeper insight into what you’re experiencing and equip you with practical tools and treatment options to help you move forward with confidence.
We believe that psychiatric care should feel supportive, empowering and tailored to you. Our approach combines clinical expertise with a holistic understanding of how your mind, body and environment all play a role in your well-being.
Through open conversation and careful assessment, we work with you to better understand your symptoms, experiences and goals to build a treatment plan that feels intentional and sustainable.

Our Approach to Medication Management
At Evolve, we provide comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care focused on long-term stability, safety, and functional improvement. We take a thoughtful, individualized approach to treatment and prioritize interventions that support sustainable mental health outcomes.
Prescribing Philosophy
Our practice emphasizes responsible prescribing and careful risk–benefit evaluation.
As part of this commitment to patient safety:
We do not routinely prescribe benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Ativan, or Klonopin).
We do not routinely initiate or continue stimulant medications.
If you are currently prescribed one of these medications, our providers will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and determine the most appropriate treatment plan, which may include alternative approaches.
Continuation of controlled medications is not guaranteed and will depend on clinical assessment, safety considerations, and alignment with our treatment philosophy.
We are not a practice focused on prescribing controlled substances as a primary treatment approach.
Substance Use Treatment
We recognize that mental health and substance use concerns often overlap. However, we are not a specialty addiction treatment clinic.
If substance use disorder is a primary concern, or if specialized addiction services are indicated, we will provide referrals to trusted community programs to ensure you receive the safest and most appropriate level of care.
Our priority is always patient safety, clinical integrity, and connecting individuals with the treatment setting that best supports their needs.
