A ritual for things you are ready to leave behind.

Some things are not meant to be carried forever -- old stories, patterns that no longer fit, pressure you were never meant to hold alone, the version of yourself that survived a difficult season but no longer needs to stay in survival mode.

The upcoming Blue Moon offers a powerful opportunity for release.

Because Blue Moons are rare, they naturally invite reflection. They ask us to pause long enough to notice what feels aligned, and what feels heavy, outdated, or ready to be set down.

In honor of this rare moon, we invite you into a simple mini release ritual you can try at home:

Step One: Create a Moment of Stillness. Light a candle, dim the lights, or step outside beneath the evening sky. Take a few slow breaths and allow yourself to arrive fully in the moment.

Step Two: Write Down What You Are Ready to Release. This could be self-criticism, fear of disappointing others, emotional exhaustion, old expectations, guilt, resentment, perfectionism, or pressure. Let yourself write honestly without overthinking it.

Step Three: Safely Let It Go. Tear up the paper, safely burn it, place it in water, or throw it away -- whatever feels symbolic and supportive to you. As you do, remind yourself: I do not need to carry this into the next season of my life.

Sometimes release doesn't happen all at once. Sometimes it begins simply by acknowledging that you are ready.

If you would like a deeper space for reflection, ritual, and intentional release, we invite you to join our upcoming Virtual Blue Moon Ceremony on Sunday, May 31st at 6-6:30 PM (recording is provided to all who register). Together, we will honor this rare moon with guided practices designed to support emotional clarity, stillness, release, and reconnection with yourself.

You don't have to enter the next season carrying everything from the last one.
