Eating Disorder Support: What this group is (and isn’t).

If you have ever felt curious about joining an eating disorder support group, but hesitated, that makes sense. Many people carry understandable fears about what support groups are like. We want to gently clear a few of those up.

This group is NOT...

  • A place where you have to share details you are not ready to talk about

  • A space where you are expected to be "recovered" or have clear goals

  • A comparison-based environment

  • A place focused on food rules, numbers, or weight

  • A commitment you can't step back from if it doesn't feel right

This group is...

  • A calm, judgment-free space to listen, reflect, and connect

  • Led by a registered nurse and a mental health therapist who understand both the physical and emotional sides of healing

  • A place where you can speak or simply observe

  • Supportive of all stages of recovery, including uncertainty

  • Centered on compassion, safety, and meeting you where you are

You don't need to know exactly what you are looking for. You don't need to be "ready." You just need curiosity and a willingness to explore whether support might feel helpful.

If you are wondering whether this group could be a fit, we invite you to fill out the interest form on our website. It's simply a way to learn more, ask questions, and see if this space feels right for you -- no pressure, no obligation.

You deserve support that feels safe, respectful, and human. We would be honored to hold that space with you.
